Minds Enriched, Spirits Strengthened

Primary School students and staff enjoyed an active Friday last week at BBGM, participating in our second annual Sports Day of athletic events and fun! Students strove in teams to exemplify our core values of Inclusiveness and Integrity.
上周五，小学部第二届年度运动会在欢声笑语中圆满落幕，学生们以团队为单位奋勇争先，以实际行动诠释了"包容"与"正直"两大核心价值观。

Beginning  with a “Parade of Houses,” proudly bearing the colors of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water, waving flags and cheering gave way to sharing victories and trying our best to excel in hula-hooping, jump-rope, mat-ball, and frisbee-dogeball (Dodgeree).
活动在庄重热烈的学院巡游中拉开帷幕。土、气、火和水四大学院的同学们身着学院色彩，高举旗帜，齐声呐喊，豪情满怀地踏上赛场。随后，呼啦圈、跳绳、垫上球、飞盘躲避球等趣味项目轮番登场，同学们你追我赶，奋力拼搏。

The laughter subsided just as the lunch-time rains came by, and after re-energizing in our canteen and enjoying a short fairy-tale film in the theater, we all took to the field once more as the weather improved for a Carnival of Free-time Fun! With a dozen stations and ample time to explore and play, students shared in face-painting and bubbles, chalk-drawings, high-jump, and tug-of-war. But even better that the balloons or Big Jenga was the beloved Slip & Slide station, full of sudsy entertainment and wide-eyed smiles!
正当欢笑声渐渐平息，午间的一场雨不期而至。同学们移步食堂补充能量，并在小剧场欣赏了一部温馨的动画短片，稍作休憩。待天色转晴，大家再度奔赴操场，迎来了下午的嘉年华自由活动时间！十余个活动摊位错落分布，供同学们尽情探索：脸部彩绘、吹泡泡、粉笔涂鸦、跳高、拔河……精彩纷呈，应接不暇。****的莫过于铺满泡沫的欢乐滑水道，同学们一个个欢呼雀跃、笑容灿烂，争相体验这份滑溜溜的畅快！

Spring was at its finest, and the world was waiting. This season, our primary students stepped beyond the classroom and onto a field trip shaped by curiosity, discovery, and learning.
春风正好，万物生长。趁着这一年中最明媚的季节，小学部的孩子们走出校园，开启了一场用脚步丈量世界的研学之旅。

G1–G3 students visited Green Field Eco Park, where a full day of hands-on experience awaited them. In the planting session, they learned to sow and tend, caring for their own seedlings with quiet focus. In the craft workshop, they folded, cut, and decorated traditional pieces, finding in each small gesture a connection to the richness of Chinese cultural heritage. Group activities brought collaboration, communication, and the easy joy of working toward something together.
G1至G3的学生走进绿田生态，在真实的自然环境中度过了丰富而愉快的一天。种植环节中，学生们学习如何播种与养护，细心照料属于自己的植物；手工环节里，他们亲手制作与装饰传统工艺品，在一折一剪之间，感受中国传统文化的趣味与温度；互动体验环节中，孩子们分组合作，在游戏与交流中建立默契、收获欢笑。

G4–G5 students spent the day at Window of the World, moving through landscapes and cultures from across the globe. They took in iconic landmarks, watched performances rooted in distant traditions, and experienced firsthand what it means for the world to be genuinely diverse. What textbooks describe in words, this place rendered visible, and the impression it left was lasting.
G4至G5的学生来到世界之窗，在一天的行程中领略了各国的风土人情。参观标志性景观、观看多元文化表演，丰富的沉浸式体验让学生们得以直观感受不同文明的面貌与表达。原本停留在书本上的内容，在这里有了更具体可感的形态，也激发了孩子们对广阔世界更深的兴趣与好奇。
