在欢庆儿童节的温馨氛围中，学校音乐与舞蹈组于本周五为我们呈现了一场星光璀璨的联合汇演。整场演出凝聚了师生们一学年以来倾注的汗水与热忱，展现了他们在音乐与舞蹈艺术上的精进与成长。来自小学部的小歌者与小舞者、中学合唱团、乐队及摇滚乐队选修课成员等，共同带来了精彩纷呈的表演。家长们满怀热情与期待，共赴这场儿童节庆典。
In the warm atmosphere of celebrating Children's Day, the school's music and dance group presented a stellar performance this Friday. It was truly a representation of the hard work and dedication its students and teachers have put in over the course of the semester and year. The program saw performances by Primary school singers and dancers, Upper school choirs, Band and Rock Band electives, and more! Parents, filled with enthusiasm and anticipation, joined together for this Children's Day celebration.
本次演出以中文组特邀三年级学生朗诵的古典诗词拉开序幕。学生们嗓音清澈，情感丰沛，以生动的表达传递出诗中含蓄悠远的意境，深深打动了在场观众。
The evening began with a beautiful recitation of ancient Chinese poetry by select Grade 3 students, invited and prepared by the Chinese department. They captivated the audience with clear voices and expressions that demonstrated a deep understanding of the gentle imagery of the poetry.
随后，小学部继续带来更多精彩演出。小学进阶合唱团演绎了两首风格迥异的歌曲，既有《采莲谣》中夏日微风般的轻柔，亦在《老虎，老虎》之歌里展现出创造力的磅礴气势。三年级学生则以充满活力的舞蹈与令人赞叹的彩穗技巧，点燃全场热情。
The program continued with more fantastic primary performances. The Advanced Primary Choir presented two songs that provided an entertaining contrast of imagery, gentle summer breezes in Lotus-picking Ballad and the fierce power of creation in Tiger Tiger. Select Grade 3 students delighted the audience with an energetic dance that included amazing poi tricks.
二年级学生通过《我会成为你的朋友》一曲呈现了关于友谊与尊重的动人表演。童趣歌舞俱乐部的学生以唱跳结合的演出，伴随着《隐形的翅膀》的优美旋律，展现了他们的多方才艺。进阶棍棒舞团则将现代编舞与棍棒技巧巧妙融合，呈现出一段充满挑战性和视觉冲击力的集体舞蹈。
The students from G2 gave an inspiring presentation about friendship and respect in the song I‘ll Be Your Friend. The ASA group Kids on Stage showed off their skills with a performance that involved singing and dancing in the beautiful melody of Invisible Wings. The Advanced Stick Dance ensemble presented a challenging routine of modern choreography impressively incorporating stick work.
中学部的演出由学生 David W. 率先登场，他以动听悠扬的钢琴独奏，展示出卓越的演奏功底。中学合唱团选修课的同学们为我们带来一曲《萱草花》，以温暖动人的歌声诠释“家”的意义，并在第二首歌曲中特邀教师代表与流行合唱团学生同台献唱《同伴之鸟》，将本次汇演推向情感的高潮。
The first Upper School performance of the evening was student David W., demonstrating his masterful, competition-winning solo piano performance. The Upper School Choir electives then sang a touching message about family in the song Daylily Blossoms and even invited some special guests of faculty and ASA Pop choir students to join them in their second song Birds of a Feather.
摇滚乐队以极具爆发力的演出燃动全场，音乐从梦幻悠扬，到力量迸发、振奋人心，引领观众全情投入，热血沸腾。中学乐队则带来了耳熟能详的电影主题旋律，让观众在熟悉的音符中会心一笑。他们更特邀神秘嘉宾同台，以巧思编排营造出更沉浸式的电影氛围，将《碟中谍》的经典旋律演绎出全新意境。
Rock Band raised the roof and kept audiences on their toes with high powered and exciting music that moved from the dreamlike to the powerful to the inspirational. Upper School Band brought smiles to everyone’s faces with familiar and popular movie themes. They even brought in surprise guests to enhance the cinematic experience for the audience in the theme song from Mission Impossible.
演出的压轴节目由中学音乐选修课的同学们联袂呈现，他们以一首节奏明快的流行金曲《起风了》，为这场跨越学部、学科与艺术门类的音乐之夜画上充满活力的句点。本次学生合作呈现的儿童节汇演不仅展现了多元音乐形式的交融，更生动诠释了音乐与舞蹈组始终倡导的共创、共享、共融的精神。值此儿童节之际，愿孩子们永远保有这份天真烂漫的童真，让童年的歌谣，在成长的路上一路清亮如初，节日快乐！
The program closed with a toe-tapping collaboration between Upper school music electives of a beloved pop song The Wind Rises. This collaboration was the perfect way to end a night of true connection between many disciplines, departments, and divisions which embodies the spirit of the Music and Dance Department. On this Children's Day, may children always retain their innocent and carefree spirit, and may the songs of their childhood ring out as clear and bright as ever as they grow up.
