风携着桂香掠过校园时，总有“美好”在不同角落生长：图书馆的木书架旁，少年们握着笔在报名表上落下郑重承诺，志愿守护一方知识天地与书页间的墨香；和煦阳光笼罩的课堂上，学生们在知识与书籍的环抱中，感受人文的醇厚，修身养性；绿茵场上，校队学生挥洒对体育和团队的热爱…处处“美好”都映着成长最本真的模样——让心有所向，让行有所往，让每一份热忱都能在时光里长出力量。
When the breeze carries the fragrance of osmanthus across campus, “beauty” always blossoms in different corners: beside the wooden shelves in the library, young students hold pens and solemnly pledge on registration forms to volunteer as guardians of this realm of knowledge and the ink scent between pages; in classrooms bathed in gentle sunlight, students immerse themselves in knowledge and books, savoring the richness of humanities while cultivating mind; On the green fields, school team members pour their passion into sports and teamwork... Everywhere, “beauty” reflects the truest essence of growth—giving direction to the heart, purpose to every step, and allowing every spark of enthusiasm to blossom into strength over time.

The Library's 5th student volunteer program for the 2025-2026 academic year has been met with an enthusiastic response! The little tigers continued their enthusiasm from previous years and actively signed up to join, demonstrating their protection of the sea of books with their actions. This year's 5th cohort of library volunteers welcomes 35 members, including outstanding past volunteers and many new additions.

一张张洋溢着笑容的脸出现在图书馆里，一份份报名表承载着为他人服务的赤子之心。一字一句，或许稍显稚嫩，却不失决心。一笔一划，书写着小虎们对图书馆学生义工项目的兴趣和向往。
Faces brimming with smiles dotted the library, while each application form held the innocent, service-hearted devotion of these young hopefuls. Every word, every line—perhaps a touch naive—still radiated resolve. Every stroke, every character written, of the Little Tigers’ eagerness and longing for the Library Student Volunteer Program.

一句句饱含真诚的话语娓娓道来，一双双盈满期盼的眼眸熠熠生辉。面试时，小虎们从不同角度、不同出发点畅所欲言。字里行间，满是对图书馆学生义工项目的跃跃欲试。
Each heartfelt statement flowed warmly, while pair after pair of eager eyes sparkled with anticipation. During the interview, the Little Tigers spoke freely from diverse angles and perspectives. Every word and line radiated eagerness—they were practically itching to dive into the Library Student Volunteer Program.

一页页幻灯片传递着知识与智慧，求知若渴的神情在小虎们的脸上浮现。培训过程中，每一位小虎目不转睛，侧耳倾听，将知识点牢记于心。笔试时更是胸有成竹，奋笔疾书，将所学融会贯通。
Slides after slides shared knowledge and wisdom, as curious expressions lit up the Little Tigers’ faces. During training, each of them listened intently, eyes fixed on the instructor, soaking in every detail. During the written test, they tackled questions with confidence, writing fluently to integrate all they’d learned.

After intense competition, 35 Little Tigers stood out and joined the 5th Library Student Volunteer Team. On this note, we congratulate all selected students—and sincerely thank every applicant for your thoughtful preparation and dedication. We believe this spirit of service will shine and make a difference in the future.

The library witnessed my growth, and I’m truly grateful to spend three years of my upper school life around it, as a member of this warm and harmonious community. My past volunteering experiences have not only enhanced my sense of responsibility and management skills through helping teachers and schoolmates, but also brought me together with so many passionate, like-minded peers. In the following year, I’m excited to work with everyone to carry forward the vibe of teamwork, goal-driven, and service, contributing to the development of our library, and to build something meaningful together.

When I first became a librarian, I was concerned that I might not be good enough, but I managed to form good relationships with others and quickly integrate into the family of librarians. In fact, it could not be better. I not only improved myself, but also developed patience, increased focus, and enhanced different skillsets. Moreover, all the other library volunteers continued to grow here, cultivating a sense of responsibility and dedication while gaining invaluable volunteer experiences. The library is a great environment for students to learn, preparing us for the future, and we, as library volunteers, vow to do our best to contribute to the school community and work together to maintain this wonderful environment. We hope that ultimately, maybe someday in the future, both the library and we will become better!

This year marks my fifth year volunteering at the library. I initially chose to join, hoping to develop myself, learning organizational coordination and time management skills. Through practice, I gradually realized this work is not only about personal growth but also a process of serving others and contributing to the school. Over these five years, I've not only mastered all service procedures but also gained a profound understanding of responsibility: helping fellow students find the books they need fills me with a deep sense of accomplishment. When I first worried about making mistakes, the patient guidance from my teachers helped me quickly adapt and grow to love this work. Now, the arrival of a new cohort of volunteers has infused the library with fresh energy. I look forward to working together with everyone to keep this warmth alive and help the library thrive even more.

选择成为图书馆义工，是因为我一直向往在满是书香的空间里做事 ，一叠叠纸张的香味让我觉得格外治愈。这里不仅安静又温暖，能亲手整理书籍、帮同学精准找到需要的学习资料，更能在过程中感受知识传递的温度，这些事情特别有意义。这一年，我期待能熟练地帮同学查书、归位书籍，减少大家找书的时间；也希望参与图书馆读书活动的筹备，从策划环节到现场协助都能贡献力量。我也希望在反复核对、细致整理的过程里，进一步锻炼自己的耐心和细心。
I chose to become a library volunteer because I have always looked forward to working in a space filled with books. The scent of stacks of paper makes me feel warm. This place is not only quiet and warm, but also allows me to sort books with my own hands, help classmates accurately find the study materials they need, and, even more, feel the warmth of knowledge transmission in the process. These things are especially meaningful. This year, I hope to help classmates search for books and reshelve them, reducing the time everyone spends looking for books. I also hope to participate in the preparation of library reading activities, contributing my efforts from the planning stage to on-site assistance. Additionally, I wish to further exercise my patience and carefulness in the process of repeatedly checking and meticulously organizing.

As the year quickly passed by, I made the right decision to be a library volunteer. The reason I chose to be a library volunteer was because being it meant that I could improve and strengthen many skills, such as responsibility, caring, self self-organization skills. Also, helping others makes me happy and excited, relaxed. When I help others, I feel encouraged by the fact that others don’t need to worry and have the burden. The expectation that I have is that I could not only have new friends who have the same hobbies as I have, but also show myself to the community, and have a significant impact on society. I think being a volunteer can provide me with valuable skills, and I’m really looking forward to it!

I am very honored to be a library volunteer. I always think the library is a magical castle with all kinds of stories. There are countless treasure books for us to discover. I used to read books in the library whenever I had time, because every book is a door to a new world. Sometimes the books bring us to the world of magic animals, and sometimes we can travel in the universe and galaxies. As a library volunteer, I will be very excited to serve our fellow students in this castle and become a little guide to help them open these magic doors. Meanwhile, I will learn the methods of organizing books and make sure that every lost treasure finds its way back to the right place. Let’s work together to make this castle better and better!
