 the Lower Primary Division held the Quarter 4 Award Ceremony for the 2025-2026 academic year at the Grand Theater, with separate sessions for Grade 1, Grade 2 and Grade 3. Parents were warmly invited to join us and witness their children’s growth and achievements. Hosted by the Deans and teachers, the well-structured event combined award presentation with character education, creating a joyful and meaningful celebration filled with heartfelt warmth.

The ceremony started with wonderful highlight videos. The hosts extended warm greetings to all attendees and clarified on-site guidelines. A variety of award sessions followed one after another. The 90’s Club was presented to students with outstanding academic performance, recognizing their solid knowledge and earnest learning attitude. Subject-specific awards honored those who stayed curious and kept challenging themselves in different disciplines, acknowledging their enthusiasm for learning.

Lively interactions enlivened the whole venue. We talked about our core value — Resilience and the Tiger value badges earned throughout the term. Students learned that setbacks are inevitable in growth, and perseverance is the most precious strength to keep moving ahead. A series of character awards were then presented. The Respect Award recognized polite and rule-abiding students; the Diligence Award praised those who studied diligently and down-to-earth; the Reading Super Star Award went to book lovers; and the Resilience Award honored students with strong willpower in the face of difficulties.

The Grade 4 and Grade 5 ceremonies kicked off in a vibrant yet solemn atmosphere. Thanks to the meticulous preparation and leadership of G4 Student Supervisor Ms. Rachel and G5 Student Supervisor Ms. Tracy, the events were exceptionally well-organized, with every segment imbued with a profound sense of ceremony. Mr. Jose and Ms. Rachel, along with Mr. Wood and Ms. Tracy, teamed up to serve as the hosts for G4 and G5 respectively. Their seamless cooperation and professional, confident, and energetic bilingual hosting not only ignited the passionate atmosphere but also ensured that every student who walked across the stage felt the joy of being respected and seen.

Our school community gathered at the Grand Theater for a vibrant Sports Awards Ceremony, celebrating the extraordinary achievements of all our student-athletes. As the spotlights executive shined, sports teams from both Primary and Upper schools took the stage one after another. The air was filled with immense pride and emotion. The bright smiles on stage reflected not only the joy of harvest, but also the daily grit and the profound bonds of teamwork.

绿茵场上，中学男足校队斩获中国·贝赛思国际/双语学校南方体育联盟赛事**和ISL（International Schools League 国际学校体育联盟）季军，女足校队将中国·贝赛思国际/双语学校南方赛区体育联赛和ISL 联赛亚军全部收入囊中；中学女排校队在ISL联赛中拼得季军；中学女篮更以连续4年的全胜战绩豪取ISL四连冠，让校队荣耀的旗帜高高扬起！

On the football field, the upper school boys' football team won the championship of BIBS·CAL South and the third place in the ISL (International Schools League), while the girls' football team swept the runner-up positions in both the BIBS·CAL South and the ISL. The upper school girls' volleyball team fought hard to win third place in the ISL. And the upper school girls' basketball team achieved a perfect record for the fourth consecutive year, winning the ISL championship for the fourth year, raising the banner of glory of the school teams high!

In the realms of culture and art, the Chinese Culture Club, Drama & Theatre Club, and Voice Acting brought about a vibrant collision of artistic expression. The Debate Society, Half Thought Podcast & Journal, and Information Verification & Digital Literacy Club focused on critical thinking and media, demonstrating students' keen awareness of social issues and independent thought.

Clubs like the Business & Economics Club, Engineering Club, Chemistry in Action, World Geography and Human Culture Trail Blazers, and Micro Film Club emphasized the extension of academic knowledge and hands-on practical skills, showcasing the students' relentless pursuit of knowledge. Meanwhile, the Synergy Dance Society and Spotlight Dance Studio used dance as a medium to convey the passion and energy of youth, while the Community Library Volunteer Reading Club and Prosocial Project dedicated themselves to community service, embodying our students' strong sense of social responsibility.

Among the many outstanding student organizations, our long-standing clubs that deeply engage with the campus and give back to society were particularly eye-catching. The Environmental Club, which organizes the school-wide "Clean Plate Campaign," has successfully translated eco-friendly concepts into daily campus life, practicing green and sustainable responsibility through actions. The Orchestra, serving as our school’s artistic postcard, has long been active across various campus stages, delivering stellar performances in major network-wide events such as the Choir Event and Band Event, interpreting their ultimate pursuit of music with pure talent. Furthermore, the compassionate Braille & Audio Description club stepped beyond the school gates to participate in numerous charity events at the Futian Library, using technology and care to build a bridge for the visually impaired to integrate into society, demonstrating a profound sense of social duty.

Throughout the fourth quarter, Grade 3 students embarked on an in-depth learning journey in Humanities, focusing on Earth’s precious freshwater resources. In class, they explored the distribution and ecological value of freshwater, and reflected on diverse threats to water environments, gaining a clear view of the bond between human activities and nature.

As a comprehensive summative project for this unit, students worked in groups to carry out in-depth research on self-selected water and environmental topics. Their studies covered practical issues such as plastic pollution, renewable energy, electric vehicles and habitat destruction.

Working collaboratively, students organized materials, analyzed problems, and created a variety of exhibits including trifold posters, physical models, dioramas and PowerPoint slides. These works clearly presented their research findings, root causes of problems and practical solutions for water protection.

本次学习成果最终以校园水资源主题展精彩呈现，展览面向小学部其他年级师生开放。活动现场，小小讲解员自信从容地分享团队研究内容，细致解读全球淡水现状，热情呼吁身边人一同践行护水行动。

The learning experience concluded with a wonderful campus Water Exhibition, open to all teachers and students from other grades in Primary School. Acting as young presenters, Grade 3 students confidently shared their research, explained the current situation of global freshwater, and advocated practical ways to conserve water.

这场项目式学习，让书本知识走进现实，孩子们不仅巩固了学科知识，更在协作调研、当众讲解的过程中收获成长，环保意识与社会责任感也在心底悄然生根。

This project-based learning bridged theoretical knowledge and real life. Students not only strengthened their academic foundation, but also improved their skills in teamwork, research and public speaking, while developing a strong sense of environmental protection and social responsibility.

To put theory into practice, the children transformed into little scientists and agronomists, cultivating vegetables themselves. Through this scientific experiment, they not only witnessed the growth cycle of food firsthand but also explored in depth how increasing crop yields could potentially help solve the global food crisis.

在集会现场，各班的展位前人头攒动。翠绿的豌豆苗错落有致地摆放着，散发着阵阵清香。学生们不仅展示了绿意盎然的成品，还向走访的师生们详细讲解了豆苗的种植步骤、生长数据以及它们在营养学上的独特价值。通过控制变量、记录生长曲线，孩子们真正体会到了每一粒粮食背后的科学力量与劳作的不易。

At the gathering, crowds thronged the booths of each class. Vibrant green pea sprouts were arranged in a neat and orderly fashion, emitting a sweet fragrance. Students not only displayed their lush, green finished products but also explained in detail to visiting teachers and students the planting steps, growth data, and unique nutritional value of the pea sprouts. By controlling variables and recording growth curves, the children truly appreciated the scientific power behind every grain of food and the hard work involved.
